Gene Cosentino
Executive Director

As Director of Operations for X-Ray Productions, Gene Cosentino is responsible for all day-to-day functions, including scheduling, personnel management, equipment purchasing decisions, on-location and studio productions, editing, and duplication services. Gene also schedules and oversees almost all of X-Ray's live video teleconferences and broadcasts. Prior to founding X-Ray, he was a principal in Renaissance Film & Video for over four years. All together he spent over eleven years at Renaissance Film & Video as Director of Operations. Prior to Renaissance, Gene was employed by Polycom Teleproductions, where he shared similar responsibilities.

Over the past 19 years, Gene has honed his skills with the ability to bring out the best mix available for a client's project. He has worked in all professional media, including many national cable TV shows, live shows as well as feature length documentaries, serving as production manager, post-production supervisor and graphics coordinator.

Shows include: At The Movies, The U.S. Farm Report, The Chicago Sun Times Sport Report, Know Your Heritage, Hidden Korea and it's successors, Hidden India and Hidden Turkey, and Book Tours with Correen Edwards, to name a few. With a number of awards, including four Telly Awards, two Philos and two American Corporate Video awards to his credit, Gene commands a solid grasp of the entire production process.

Gene holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from DePaul University and an M.F.A. in Film & Video from Columbia College.
