Noel Olken
Producer

Cup of My Blood is Noel Olken's second feature film as producer. His first film was Slave, which he also wrote and directed. Other producing experiences include shorts, commercials, PSAs and industrial work. He is the CEO of Waitergonebad Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company.

He was first attracted to Cup of My Blood by the strength of the story and the passion of the director, Lance Catania. "I read many scripts every year, but none had gotten under my skin like Cup did, and made me say, hey, I'll produce this for you, I'll spend the next two years of my life working on this with you". That says a lot. "The road to getting a script to screen is difficult, and I like to pick my work carefully. I won't work on just anything. I have to feel passionate about the script and the film it will eventually become."

Before moving to Los Angeles in 2006, he was very involved in the independent film scene in Chicago, and served on the board of the IFP/Chicago for six years, four of them as Vice President. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America.

His background is in theatre, where he continues to work as an actor and director.

At other times, he has been a rock musician, a street mime, a busker, a cabbie, a shoe salesman, a telemarketer, and a waiter.

He is married to the lovely and amazing Kris Cahill, artist and clairvoyant, whose talent and beauty inspire him daily.
