Allie Smith, originally from Corpus Christi, TX, has been in Chicago three years and is currently wrapping up her studies with The Second City Conservatory. She can be seen starring as Sue, a "gun-slinging Lolita" in CCG's Shut-Eye in its spring 2004 DVD/VHS international release. Shut-Eye had its successful theatrical run in the winter of 2003, enjoying critical acclaim and strong audience response. She also worked with John Covert and CCG on the short films Deadnight as Joni and in Festival as Alice. In the summer of 2003 she starred in Cinemapath's Lifeguard in the title role of Amanda, the fatal victim of an ex-boyfriend's obsessive love. In addition to her numerous film credits, she has done corporate video work for Walgreen's,United Airlines, and Cingular Wireless. Allie has been seen in local Chicago theatre productions with Reel Rain and Cousin Billy Productions. She is delighted to be working with X-Ray Productions, Lance Catania, and the talented cast and crew he has assembled for Cup of My Blood.
